HV Land and Subsea Production Manager
May 2012 - Jun 2013 (Spain)
Europe & Med Technology Engineer Oct 2010 - Nov 2012 (2 years 2
months) (France – Germany)
Process Engineer MV/HV Jan 2007 - Oct 2010 (3 years 10 months)

Production boss for power cables manufactured in Spain, which means being in direct commando of 66 operators in three
shifts, 7 days per week, 24 h per day, 6 Operators Chiefs, 2 Engineers and 1 planner. The target is to have an excellent
production process for subsea, umbilical’s, HV and MV power underground cables. That means working on the daily
production issues and designing a medium-term strategy to ensure each cable’s safety, quality and delivery term in each
project. For that fact, it’s essential to deal with the necessities and requirements of the customer constantly, and
follow each project specifically from the design of the cable, and production, till the final installation.
Some of the projects where I’ve been involved:
Cascade Kinuch 12/20 kV In the Gulf of Mexico
Montanazo Lubia 18/30 kV (Respsol-Aker). (2009)
Clov. 6/10 kV (Aker) 2012.
Goliath cable 132 kV. Copper welded HV foil.
Helgoland (2008) Full Spain production.
Biendong (2012) Spain and Germany production.
Globaltech (2013) First SZ design, Spain production and new installation parameters in NSW Germany.
Bard 1, 2 , 3 (from 2008 till 2012).
Meerwind (2011)
Borkum Best (2012)
Humber Gateway (18/30 kV) (with cooper Foils, NSW, E.ON)
Northwind with Parker
Baltic 2, Export cable 115 kV. I was expatriated to Germany for 1.5 years to develop, homologate and improve the
production process of Baltic 2 cable (2010 till 2012) (Customer: 50 Herz)
DEH cables up to132 kV, (Piggy back, Raiser and Feeder) from the beginnings in 2010, where the first
designs and splice homologations were performed till the current production nowadays.
Power Underground Cables.
I’ve been involved in tens of power underground cable projects, however especially attention and effort have been taken
to HV cables with welded smooth pipe screens.
