Monthly Salary MYR 7,100
GWIP is a contract packaging company for FMCG products. I am fully in-charge for both production department and engineering department. I also involve actively in QA and warehouse/Logistics department. To be a successful and effective manager, I always take initiative to participate in the whole manufacturing process from R&D stage until the finished goods are shipped out from the warehouse. As a production manager, operation cost, on time delivery and production working environment always are the top priorities in my list.
Main Responsibilities:-
Production:
- Manage and lead a team of 1 Production Exec, 1 Production Planning Exec, 3 supervisor and 8 line leaders to support for factory operation for 24 hoursx6days a week.
- To lead +-200 production operators (combination of foreign and local) workers to support for weekly order and delivery without failure.
- To involve and arrange the resource to support for new packing design requested by customer.
- To monitor the KPI for production control.
- To lead and motivate production team to improve the productivity to meet customer's requirement which including customer's order acceptance and on time production.
- To effectively manage and utilize the manpower and the machines to maximum the output.
- To monitor and improve the scrap ratio for packaging material, finished good, and raw material.
- Support purchasing in sourcing for new suppliers to reduce the raw material and packaging cost.
- To evaluate and improve production team's skills and knowledge.
- Review Production SOP and WI from time to time to suit to customer's expectation.
- Ensure the accuracy of Inventory level.
- Review the product costing and unrealistic production target.
- Practice TPM, 5S and Kaizen in production floor.
- To create a safety and good working environment.
- Expenses and OT is not exceeding the budget.
Quality:
- Cooperate with QA team to investigate and provide CAPA for customer complaint.
- Involved in Fish Bone Analysis, WHY-WHY Analysis.
- CAPA execution and evaluate the feedback.
- Support for 5S audit, company quality policies audit, customer's side audit.
- Improve quality awareness among the operators.
- Prevent any NG product leak out from the factory.
- Work as internal auditor for ISO 9001.
- Liaise with suppliers for all the raw material complaints.
- Lead the process/product improvement for better quality/profit margin.
Engineering:
- Manage and lead a team of 1 Maintenance Exec, 1 Industrial Engineer and 5 technicians to support for factory operation for 24 hoursx6days a week.
- To prepare the equipment/jig/adjustment to support for new product development.
- Reduce unplanned downtime by improving the machines condition.
- Increase machines capacity and running speed.
- Spare part stock control to avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Facilities (Air compressor, AHU and DB) maintenance to avoid any interruption to production.
- Fire Fighting System Maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and repairing the machines during breakdown.
- Preventive Maintenance Scheduling.
- Spare part purchases.
Achievement:
1. Routing(Costing) analysis to eliminate unrealistic production target.
2. Improve the OEE and maintain at 85%
3. Reduce operation reject by 2%
4. Reduce unnecessary production downtime.
Reason to leave: The company close down due to the main customer move the business to oversea.

生产:
-管理和领导一个由1名生产执行官、1名生产计划执行官、3名主管和8名生产线领导组成的团队,每周6天,24小时支持工厂运营。
-带领+-200名生产运营商(外国和当地的结合)工人支持每周订单和交付,而不会出现故障。
-参与并安排资源支持客户要求的新包装设计。
-监控生产控制的KPI。
-领导和激励生产团队提高生产效率,以满足客户的要求,包括客户的订单接受和准时生产。
-有效地管理和利用人力和机器,最大限度地提高产量。
-监控和提高包装材料、成品和原材料的报废率。
-支持新供应商的采购,以降低原材料和包装成本。
-评估和提高生产团队的技能和知识。
-不时审查生产SOP和WI,以满足客户的期望。
-确保库存水平的准确性。
-审查产品成本和不切实际的生产目标。
-在生产车间练习TPM、5S和Kaizen。
-创造一个安全和良好的工作环境。
-费用和加班不超过预算。
质量:
-与QA团队合作,调查并为客户投诉提供CAPA。
-参与鱼骨分析,WHY-WHY分析。
-CAPA执行和评估反馈。
-支持5S审核,公司质量政策审核,客户侧审核。
-提高操作人员的质量意识。
-防止任何NG产品从工厂泄漏出去。
-担任ISO 9001的内部审核员。
-就所有原材料投诉与供应商联系。
-领导流程/产品改进,以获得更好的质量/利润率。
工程:
-管理和领导一个由1名维护主管、1名工业工程师和5名技术人员组成的团队,每周6天、24小时支持工厂运营。
-准备设备/夹具/调整,以支持新产品开发。
-通过改善机器状况减少计划外停机时间。
-提高机器容量和运行速度。
-控制备件库存,避免不必要的浪费。
-设施(空气压缩机、AHU和DB)维护,以避免生产中断。
-消防系统维护。
-故障期间对机器进行故障排除和修理。
-预防性维护计划。
-备件采购。
成就:
1.路线(成本)分析,以消除不切实际的生产目标。
2.提高OEE并保持在85%
3.减少2%的操作拒绝
4.减少不必要的生产停机时间。
离职原因:由于主要客户将业务转移到海外,公司倒闭。
