As a plant manager my principal role is to Plan, direct, execute and generate operational and manufacturing related constant improvements for the operation.

Responsible for the Ramp Up of a new furniture fabrication factory, Operating in a 95,000ft2 facility with a total of 150 employees.

● In charge of day to day plant and production operations.
● Supervised all Corrective Actions and implemented Preventive Actions in every area of the factory.
● Implemented constant improvements procedures for quality, safety and social responsibility.
● Implemented 5’s programs
● Generate and implement a Quality assessment program that meets clients
requirements and international certification with Intertek and ISO

In the spring of 2006 I started Madeira Wood Products, a company focused in fabricating all types of custom wood products mainly Door and windows. In our product line we also had modular furniture, case goods and architectural accessories as beams, baseboard and
wall coverings. Our product was made from quality hardwoods such as Walnut, Mahogany, Cedar, Oak, Alder and others. In 2012 Company was sold to Krosswood Wood Products.

I started with OWD with a crew of 12 production workers and 2 engineers in a 12,000 sft building. Within a period of 6 months I moved the operation to a 110,000sft building and increased production crew to 500 employees. Restructured the OWD engineer department and generated and implemented new procedures for all areas.
