Managing and retaining high-value accounts for British Steel, the well-known steel mill of special long steel profiles from the United Kingdom, and, also involved in the extensive new market development for the Chinese manufacturer of Ground engaging tools for the mining industry - The MTW Blades and, have been able to successfully bring exponential growth in the sales revenue by closing high-value contracts with existing clients and added renowned multinational accounts present in South America to their clientele which would play a key role in future sales & and volume increments.

My role includes -

Negotiate contracts and close agreements.
Lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Preparation of reports on account status.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships in the territory.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Reports for communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Manage & train upcoming team of sales engineers in the company.

Technical sales work for British Steel & MTW-Blades.

Identifying and establishing a new business.
Organising sales visits.
Giving demonstrations, training and presentations to help clients discover and understand products/services.
Liaising with existing clients.
Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions.
Reviewing sales performance.
Making monthly reports & client visit reports and other sales literature.
Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.

In charge of my watch in the engine room, responsible for critical operations such as the ship's bunkering/fuel loading, responsible for producing & elaborating bunker loading plans and safety plans, responsible for the management of personnel involved in the critical operations, responsible for all types of maintenance (PMS or break-down), trouble-shooting & ensuring the excellent operating conditions of the machineries under my command, such as high capacity centrifugal heavy oil purifiers, all types of pumps, compressors, maintenance of sewage treatment plant, spare parts management and, also responsible for the bilge & sludge discharge operations through OWS in compliance with laws MARPOL together with the Chief Engineer.

Practicing basic engine room operations, ship fueling operations, drawing up fueling operation management and safety plans for approval by the chief engineer, instructing and managing personnel involved in operations, taking care of the management system machine safety (SMS), unloading and maintenance of sewage treatment plants and all types of automatic & semi-automatic compressors and pumps.
