[Google Next Japan 2023 Demo] Created a digital human to display in front of thousands of project managers, engineers and business leaders at Google Next Japan to demonstrate our engineering capabilities.
Created a serverless web application that abided by AWS’ well architected best practices. Technologies leveraged include API Gateway, S3, Lambda, and ECS. Managed infrastructure with Terraform.
Leveraged CICD pipelines through Jenkins and Bitbucket to allow for a more unified developer experience.
Speed of development was increased through having precommit hooks, deploy-on-merge to main, infrastructure checks.

As a software engineer, I developed dashboards for a cosplay live-streaming application to track transactions within the web app (Angular, TypeScript, MySQL).
Managed a team of 7 engineers and did sprint planning with clients. I was the communication bridge between Japanese engineers, Japanese product managers and English-speaking engineers.
In a SaaS web application, as the number of users grew, a database deadlock issue began slowing down the performance of the application. I proposed changing the default queue driver to something simple and managed (Amazon SQS) and helped build out the architecture.
Saved the client several thousands of dollars a month by switching unused servers to EC2 on-demand instances, reducing the amount of backups we took from 24 to 12.

Developed a visual dashboard to display graphs from raw data stored in a Microsoft SQL server database. I provided a high level overview of the system architecture and shipped a back-end API using Django Rest Framework, and a VueJS front-end. As Vue3 was not mature and production ready at the time, I used 2.
Eliminated a race condition issue where fault detectors didn’t trigger and saved tens of thousands of dollars of lost worker productivity (JavaScript / Node.js / VueJS / NuxtJS)
