• Responsible for managing the monthly financial statement close process. The close went from 5-days to 3-days resulting from changes that I implemented.
• Prepared and presented financial reports to senior management including presenting the monthly financial results to the CFO. Describing all key drivers, changes in key performance indicators (KPIs), business performance and helping provide business insights.
• Led the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation. Creating a new chart of accounts and account mapping from the existing ERP (Navision) to Oracle Fusion. Created new Fixed Asset, Intangible Asset and Prepaid Asset sub-ledgers. And created new business processes and internal controls to improve recordkeeping and speed-to-close with the new ERP.
• Lead for all M&A transactions. Overall led 3 acquisitions, totaling over $800M in total purchase consideration. Responsible for ensuring that the accounting for all acquisitions transitioned in a timely and efficient manner. Worked with a cross-departmental transition team including Procurement, Treasury, FP&A and Financial IT to implement the transition plans.
• Completed a $750M debt restructuring working with a syndicate of banks and underwriters.
• Completed an $800M equity raise while helping prepare the investor presentation for the Roadshow. The Investor Presentation included overall business initiatives and strategy along with business insights and a financial model for the company. Prepared the SEC Form S-3 and prospectus to be compliant with all SEC regulations.
• Managed the quarterly reviews and annual audit. Coordinating internal and external resources to meet deadlines. Helped drive a 20% reduction in Audit/Review hours from when I started to when I left resulting in significant cost savings.

• Managed the daily operations and Finance and Accounting group. Team consisted of 4 staff and senior analysts/accountants.
• I was a member of the Investment Committee tracking our $3 billion investment portfolio, reviewing the performance, and providing financial analysis and metrics. Met bi-weekly with CFO, VP of Finance and VP of Investments to review portfolio progress, changes, and allocation decisions.
