Key responsibilities:
Responsible for 2 sites (Charter Dura-Bar, Charter Automotive) in China
Lead and attend the HR corporate projects, such as culture promotion, training projects, C&B, OD and shop floor employee skill matrix design etc.
Promote safety as part of company culture and lead/support site safety, environmental and health initiatives
Partner with site and business leadership to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
Manage employee relations practices in a manner that protects the culture, conforms to the law and maintains a union-free environment ensuring a strong employee engagement and performance culture in the organization
Assist management team in developing bench strength; i.e. succession planning, performance management, training, diversity, etc. Develop and implement training programs that satisfy identified employee developmental requirements
Lead and develop site HR Team
Assist in establishing and implementing the human resources strategic initiatives which support the overall business objectives
Serve as a management resource to ensure consistent administration of established policies. Manage wage/salary administration process, performance review process, and benefits.
Develop and implement recruiting plans to meet the businesses strategic needs
Support teamwork through training, facilitating, recognition, and communication
Interpret and administer employment laws and policy. Ensure compliance with, and accurate and timely reporting of, human resources laws and directives
Keep up to date on the latest trends and technology related to human resource functions. Identifies and suggests ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the human resource team
