Responsibilities:
• Spearhead sales and business development function for South Asian markets for plates and long products for top tier global steel manufacturers viz. Nippon Steel Corporation/Japan, JFE Steel Ltd./Japan, POSCO/Korea along with Kiswire/Malaysia, Bao Steel China among others.
• Covering top INFRA, POWER and EPC players like DMRC, NTPC, L&T Group, Godrej, Tata Projects, Patel Engineering, NCC, GMR, HCC, Jaiprakash Associates, PHPA, Dugar Grp/Nepal, Triveni Grp/Nepal etc. for their specialized project requirement.
• To explore new potential market, identifying key areas of business development and devising plans for augmenting business volume & revenue for steel plates and long steel products.
• Develop new business models to increase revenue and margins for the company.
Achievements:
• Successfully bagged and executing long term supply contract for MTHL project, Mumbai.
• Cross-sold pot-bearings for the same project.
• Successfully introduced new product/technology to be used in HighSpeed Railway Projects (Bullet Train projects)
