- Leading and further developing an interdisciplinary team of 10 members
- Managing the research and development Shopfloor and ensuring the required quality of performance

with processes such as Laser Powder Bed (single and multi-materials), DMLS, Cold Gas Spray and Cold
Metal Fusion
- Developing new metal powders, primarily titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel
- Redesigning parts through topology optimization and bionic design to adapt them for 3D printing
- Design validation through calculations, simulations, and real-world testing
- Designing and testing new 3D printing systems from the ground up to TRL level 4 to meet specific
geometry, production volume, and materials requirements
- Close planning and coordination of short- and long-term projects with company departments and
external partners
- Disseminating additive manufacturing knowledge in other departments
- Work closely with the supply chain and maintain continuous communication and collaboration to
advance the technology
- Collaborating with research institutes and universities to develop new solutions and ideas in this field
