· Develop and maintain accounts with AGV customers including preparing quotes and negotiating PO terms and conditions
· Sales calls to customers in the Steel, Aluminum, Automotive, Textile and Paper Industries as required
· New business development for AGVs and Transporters

· Perform SEO analysis periodically to improve website conversion performance

· Responsible for the day to day operations of the Engineering Department and timely release of drawing packets and BOMs to support manufacturing operations
· Oversee design and development of various industrial equipment lines including the following: AGVs, Industrial Transporters, Trailers and Buckets, Rail Based Equipment including furnace transfer cars and skip cars and various industrial steel wheel assemblies along with mining support equipment such as belt winders and belt tensioners
· Responsible for development and direction of Automatic Guided Vehicle program

Responsibilities
· Manage an engineering department consisting of 4 engineers (3 mechanical, 1 electrical),3draftsmen and 1 support person
· Manage overall manufacturing operation including the Production Manager and Assistant production manager and two Manufacturing Supervisors along with a manufacturing shop consisting of welders (15), mechanics (6-7), laborers (2) and machinists (5-6)
· Present project ideas to upper management for approval
· Oversee the design of hydraulic, remote-controlled maintenance equipment used in the steel and similar industries; Equipment is comprised of mechanical and hydraulic systems, diesel or electric engine/motor and it’s control system and the operator interface (radio control, hardwired joystick pendant, CAN Bus system, etc)
· Ensure all mechanical and electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with established policies and objectives
· Communicate with sales department and customer to insure customer’s expectations are fully met
· Plan and direct all aspects of engineering activities
· Oversee staffing, scheduling and training of manufacturing and engineering personnel
· Monitor and evaluate workflow and assembly methods and make recommendations for process improvements
· Ensure manufacturing performance and quality goals are met
· Monitor and resolve all customer warranty issues
