Responsible for new product development of interior and exterior chrome plated trims for Engineering and Automotive industries.
• Conduct feasibility study and process identification of products
• Facility planning for the new product development.
• Implementation of APQP / PPAP procedures for all parts under development and responsible for PSW signoff with customers.
• Co-ordinate with customers & internal departments to establish team feasibility for New Products
• Assess customer documents, product part specific specifications and drawings
• Pivotal in managing Proto / Pre-Pilot / Pilot / Engineering Run to meet customer specified and internal quality requirements
• Develop detailed timelines (milestones) to include individual elements such as part design, tool build, machine build, process development, document preparation, and packaging.
• Managing multiple mold tooling/assembly equipment builds. Sourcing injection mold tooling and work closely with outside mold builders to ensure tooling meets requirements and responsible for final design release and approval.
• Development of team and standardization of process through team reviews and lessons learned process
• Conduct Process FMEA of the all new products with CFT Members
• Troubleshooting all technical problems, conducting various tests & inspections to ensure that products developed are in compliance with pre-set quality specifications and as per OEM standards
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards & maintaining all related documents, establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems for incoming materials to enhance quality of products & reduce the rejection rate
