About the Role
Sunseeker North America, Inc., a leader in innovative landscaping solutions through intelligent robotics and professional - grade outdoor power equipment, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Director of Sales to lead our strategic expansion into and management of key National Retail Channels. This role is pivotal for developing and executing a robust retail strategy, driving sell - through, and building enduring partnerships with major retailers to solidify our market position.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive retail channel sales strategy targeting major home improvement and retail accounts to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for key national accounts, including but not limited to The Home Depot (THD), Lowe‘s, and TTI.
Lead all aspects of the retail business, including category management, assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and in - store merchandising.
Negotiate and manage annual joint business plans, terms, and conditions with retail partners.
Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure flawless execution of retail programs and launch of new products.
Analyze sell - through data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
Represent Sunseeker at key retail partner meetings, industry trade shows, and national events.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and regular performance reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years specifically in national account management within the OPE, hardware, or consumer goods sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing and growing business with major retailers such as The Home Depot (THD), Lowe’s, and TTI is essential.
Deep understanding of retail logistics, including EDI, supply chain management, and vendor performance metrics.
Strong financial and business acumen with experience in P&L management and trade fund allocation.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel domestically as required to support key accounts and corporate objectives.
