• Produced bespoke assessments on the potential operational disruption from Malaysia’s 2021 political transition, China’s energy shortages in October 2021, US-China overlapping sanctions regulations, based on business requests

• Proactively fostered close relations with peer analysts and internal Dell stakeholders such as Government Affairs based in Central and Eastern time zones; familiarity with managing regional stakeholders as the sole analyst in Asia

• Initiated the intelligence team’s inaugural bimonthly stakeholder briefing with the APAC regional security team, designing presentation material and delivering an hour-long Q&A based on topics of interest by stakeholders

• Drafted a working memo for Professor Wood’s consultant project with the United Nations on truth commissions

•Selected as the only undergraduate of three summer associates in a highly competitive internship to conduct research on Chinese internal migration policy and urbanization plans; the research effort was on China’s hukou reforms

• Presented draft paper to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and Hank Paulson, head of the Paulson Institute

• Supported the institutional relations team by conducting due diligence research and creating presentation material on two projects, the Singapore Workforce domestic policy taskforce and in Shenzhen and Hainan’s marine development

• Mapped key policy developments such as the Shenzhen Pilot Reforms Plan in business projects between the Temasek, the Singapore Government, and Chinese provincial governments of Shenzhen and Hainan

Researched the early decades of Singapore-Burmese foreign relations (1945-1990) for Prof. Maitrii Aung-Thwin by accessing newspaper articles, declassified foreign policy documents, legal trials, oral interviews, and other sources

•Invited to intern in a highly selective research team as the only sophomore on regional counterterrorism

• Proactive in directing the group’s research direction and presentation by identifying key developments in the

regional operations of Jemaah Islamiyah and IS-K, such as lone-wolf attacks and clandestine cell system

• Briefed external visitors such as conscripts, civil servants, and tertiary students on Singapore’s security risks
