Multi-Sector Import / Sales / Distribution
In charge of Operation regarding Sales, Import and Distribution of consumer products mainly imported from China to
Mexica via e. Commerce platforms such as: Mercado Libre, Amazon, Claro, Wal-Mart, Linio, Coppel, etc. Jointly working
with other companies to sell and distribute steel items such as Stainless, HR, GI, PPGI and silicon steel in Mexico to
distributors and Tier1&2Companies.

International Steel Trading – Queretaro/CDMX.
Working independently in partnership with SC MIN INNOVATION (Korea) selling various steel items including: Galvanized,
Galvanneal, PrePainted, Aluminized, Stainless, Tin Plate, etc. from Asian mills to Mexican companies in the Construction
and Manufacturing Industries. In charge of: developing new customers, making initial contact, negotiating price, sales
terms and conditions as well as offering customized supply-chain solutions to fulfill customer’s requirements. Since joining
the company, I have increased the number of customers on an average of 40% every year.

Steel Service Center for Samsung C&T Group - Queretaro, Queretaro.
Main activities included opening new customers and increasing sales volumes of the company’s slitting/shearing services as
well as sales of flat steels, especially electrical steel. Since joining the company, sales records were increased by an
average of 23% from 2013 thru 2015. I had the opportunity to establish together with my team, an all-time-high sales
record of 46,000mt by end of 2015.
In charge of QSSC’s Marketing Team (10 members) for sales and marketing activities. Besides promoting sales of
company’s products and services, I was responsible for enhancing the Area ́s day-today-day operation including:
supervision of ongoing sales with the staff under my charge; keep healthy account receivables; coordinate the supply of
incoming steel raw materials from Asian mills in tandem with Samsung C&T HQ (Korea) as well as the delivery on time to
the final customer (JIT/Kanban).
In charge of improving Key Performance Indicators (optimum stock level, cash flow, sales profitability). I reported directly
to the Marketing & Sales Director as well as QSSC’s General Director. Started developing new projects for the company
including the initial phase for sale to Automotive Industry customers.
In charge of attending quality/service claims in conjunction with the Quality Inspectors in my Team.

Global Trading and Investment Group - Mexico City, Mexico.
I was responsible of selling all Automotive Grade steel items to the entire Mexican Market including Carbon steels,
Aluminized, Galvanized and Galvannealed coils from Korea and China. My main focus was targeting Auto Tier One/Two
companies and Service Centers. My main activities included: prospecting and closing sales with new customers, increasing
sales volumes of Automotive grade steels and give proper follow up to existing orders for a record of more than
USD$10,000,000.

/DAEWOO INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION – Global Trading - Mexico City, Mexico.
In charge of sales of Automotive Grade CR/HR, GI and GA steel coils from Posco Korea and Posco Mexico CGL to major
OEMs and Tier One/ Two companies in Mexico, including the company’s most important account: VW Mexico. My main
activities included prompt supply of steel from mill to the customer, involve in yearly price negotiation with the OEM,
increase the sales volume and share, in charge of the prompt account collection from customers, as well as responding
and solving quality claims. Achieved consistent increase in sales on a year-to-year basis. I also reached the highest sales
volume and share for automotive grade steels for the company at that time (110,000mt/year).Gathered comprehensive
knowledge for preparing PPAPs, IMDS and Circle Grid Analysis as required by OEMs for the approval of new origin
materials. Responsible of attending and working out a solution (together with the Quality staff) for customers with quality
claims.

Food and Snacks -Tizayuca, Hidalgo. Mexico.
I was responsible of sales to supermarket and convenience chains, government (DIF) and other special key accounts.
During my time in this company I was able to open the following new accounts: Soriana, Gigante, Chedraui, City Club,
Waldo’s Mart, Extra & 3B.
I also had the chance to successfully develop cross-promotions with Kellogg’s and Coca-Cola. I was in charge of the
operation at a national level of major Key accounts such as Wal-Mart and Comercial Mexicana. In charge of the company’s
supermarket Sales and Promotional Team (12 members). In charge of proper collection from customers. Achieved the
biggest increase in sales in the department in 2006 (52,000 units).

S.N.C, (BANCOMEXT) Mexican Trade Council Office for CostaRica, Nicaragua & Panama. San Jose, Costa Rica. – Mexico’s Trade Promotion Agency -
In charge of planning, developing and executing export projects of Mexican products to southern Central America.
I carried out market research for goods from a wide scope of sectors, including the textile, electronics, metal, construction
materials, handcrafts, and foods industries achieving sales for USD$2,000,000 during my stay.
Good knowledge of the business opportunities available in Central America, as well as being able of highlighting the main
characteristics of the forces that reign this market for various goods.

Trading -Naucalpan, Mexico City.
I worked as a representative for trading companies from Asia in Mexico. Responsible of initial contact and negotiation with
potential clients, follow up and completion of key purchasing orders between Mexican chain stores (ie. Soriana, ComercialMexicana, Gigante, etc) and the Asian supplier. I acquired an ample experience importing from China, Vietnam, Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Indonesia and Sri Lanka various products such as garments, electronics, shoes, tools, novelties, etc. I had the
chance to work closely with customs brokers, buyers, import departments and various Asian suppliers.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint); basic knowledge of web page
building and hosting as well as of e-commerce. Good knowledge of: IMDS and Retail-link systems. Experience with
customized ERP systems (Samsung’s & Totis).
