Main activities: Manage a factory of 500 direct employees and staff for the manufacture of jeans. Manage of all resources in
factory, employees and machinery given the variations and moves in the production plan (line balancing, minutes revew every
2 week per familly). Review, manage and coordinate introduction for new products to the production floor. Manage and
monitoring weekly expenses (direct labor, machine failure, bad cuts, absenteeism) and payroll for 500 employees. Coordinate
action plans from feedback of Union meetings. Manage quality in process and quality assurance giving weekly results from
after wash indicators (workmanship, shades). Direct communication with operations in USA. Time studies, creation, and
costing of all operations (new/current products). Monitoring and support for the on-time delivery of orders. Annual Budget
management assigned to engineering. Monitoring and working plans given results of KPI´s of the factory. Follow up and
compliance for the various annual engineering projects for cost reduction (material/process). Meetings with supervison staff 2
times a day, for the bihour results and adjustments for the plan of the day. AS400 monitoring every hour to review moves in
cost with every supervisor. Responsible to keep 90% efficiency of the factory with action plans directly with supervision and
superintendent.
VF VANS (Vendor / Vulcanize Footwear Manufacturing) – Plant Engineer

Main activities: Ensure the good relationship and communication with the host plant (SUNJADE, HONG FU GROUP) since it was
a third level project of the company. The main activity is the assurance and constant audit of the quality of the product, as the
first front towards the image of the brand with the client. Constant audit of the process for compliance with minimum
requirements of the Brand. Research and present new trends in the footwear industry for process improvement (materials /
machinery / method). Constant communication with operations and engineering in Asia to find new opportunities for
improvement in the process. Sale and implement engineering projects accepted by the factory. Continuous reinforcement of
the shoe process for the vulzanizing process. Report, create and execute working plans for the improvement of the main KPIs
of the plant.
TIMBERLAND (Footwear Manufacturing)– Plant Engineer

Main activities: Manage a plant with 300 direct employees and staff for the manufacturing of safety boots. Manage and
monitoring of production plans according to the capabilities of the process (resources, people and machinery). Review, manage
and coordinate introduction of new products to the production lines. Manage and monitoring of the expenses and payroll for
the 300 employees. Contant revew of minutes for products in the production plan. Responsible for decision making of quality
compliance in process. Time studies, creation and costing of new operations by product. Coordinate and support in the correct
management of the on-time deliveries of production orders. Manage of daily and weekly operation costs. Management of the
annual budget assigned for engineering projects. Monitoring and execute working plans according to results of plant KPIs.
Monitoring and compliance with the various annual engineering projects for cost reduction (material / process). Support in the
renovation for the infrastructure of the division´s plants. Meetings with supervision and line leaders for bihourly decisions due
to production performance.
