Reporting directly to the Plant Director.
Lead and manage operation teams of more than 150 people (production, data entryand maintenance) to fulfill customers’ demand in plastic injection molding, precision
cleaning for semiconductor, wafer shipper, precision packaging trays; thermoforming for
medical device packaging; and sterilize medical device assembly class 3 for negative
pressure wound drainage.
Constantly drive, manage and provide leadership in the continuous improvement
within operation (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash, Employee, Productivity) to achieve
the operational excellence thru Six Sigma and LEAN methodology.
Lead, establish, monitor and review with the teams on daily KPI to ensure operation
performance runs smoothly and according to the company objectives, policy and compliance
to rules and regulations set by the company during daily management review meetings.
Continually improve the production and material yield, reduce downtime, resolve
production and product quality issues with design analysis and manufacturing perspective
Responsibilities
by using LEAN concepts, DOE, SPC and statistical tools.
Lead and manage the maintenance & facility department to ensure all preventive
maintenance and ad hoc facility, machine or equipment breakdown are settled in a timely
manner.
Lead and co-work with Planning, Engineering and QA departments to ensure on
time delivery with good product quality.
Constantly review and develop long term strategy plan and technology roadmap in
plastic molding, thermoforming, medical assembly operation by upgrading the facility and
machinery within the capital expenditure.
Develop and adhere to the departmental CAPEX and budgets, close monitoring of
the allocated funds and achieve the company given goals.
Accountable for the company profit and loss, gross profit analysis, inventory
turnover, cost model of plastic injection products, equipment and tooling budget.
Purchase, cost reduction, manage inventory, aging stock of indirect materials.

Maintain overall operation systems, equipment and machines in good condition and
compliance to the EN ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit process.
Chairman of Continuous Improvement / Kaizen; 5S, Safety, Health and
Environment, initiate and promote the culture for continual improvement.
Project leader of Industry 4.0 Smart Factory in MES from design of user
experience, framework development and software realization.
Constantly deliver company performance, goals, expectation and business changes
to department staff.
Recruit, supervise, mentor, manage, coach and appraise other personnel and
department staff by ensuring the resources, training, skills and competence are up to level
and achieve departmental goals and KPI.
Lead role in setup, maintain and upgrade Cleanroom ISO Class 5 to Class 8.
Upon on board 2 months, resolved 7 major NCR in EN ISO13485 relating to
production and maintenance within two weeks, audited by MedCert (Germany) in August
2017.
Reduced dusty environment in production floor by relocation of crushing machines,
year 2017.
Improved 17% productivity for medical life science products, from 540 to 630 daily
output, year 2017. Improved 10% productivity from 630 to 700 daily output, year 2020.
Enhancement, improvement and implementation to comply with the GMP, EN ISO
13485:2016 & ISO 9001:2015 for production and maintenance, year 2018.
Obtained TUV and SIRIM certificate by maintaining and updating documentation,
year 2018.
Water bill cost saving about RM16.8k in 2018 and RM13.8k in 2019, about 27% and
30% reduction in total bill of year 2017 and 2018 respectively thru recycle project.
Reduced maintenance downtime from average 0.955% in 2017 to average 0.67%,
year 2018 by upgrading machines, equipment, accessory.
Achievements
Setup, operate and maintain the thermoforming and injection molding production
in cleanroom class 8 (100k).
Achieved maintenance capital expenditure approved budget in 2018/2019/2020.
Achieved 4% headcount cost reduction on direct labour versus to sales demand in
2019.
Material utilization saving RM220k in 2019 and RM420k in 2020. Maximize scrap sell
to RM49k in 2020.
Appointed by CEO as Corporate Affairs Committee in 2019/2020 to propose to EXCO
any ideas which could potentially make a positive impact to the organization and execute
various tasks given by EXCO.
Promoted from Senior Manager II to Senior Manager I in January 2020.
Develop a logic and web-base database of the Manufacturing Execution System of
Smart Factory together with IT programmer, year 2020.
Team leader in developing the Texchem Group Intranet with vendor in 2020.
Develop and set up the production in short lead time to launch the face shield
products and meet daily out of 20,000 sets/day in one week, year Jun/2020.
