June 2016 – May 2017:
Responsibilities:
Increase monthly production capacity from 500MT to 850MT.
Reduce monthly unit cost consumption from USD15/kg to USD13/kg.
Approve monthly and revised daily batch production schedule for CVD reactors.
Approve stoppage, maintenance and start-up schedule for short-term maintenance in TCS (Trichlorosilane) Production Section, CVD Production Section, Vent-Gas-Recovery (VGR) Section and Utilities Area.
Confirm maintenance procedure for the equipment in term of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
Prepare annual OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Plan and participation in semi-annual audit.
Set safety target and safety education plan for all Manufacturing staff from Engineer level, DCS Board Operator, Field Technician and Operator level.
Apr 2012 – May 2016: Senior Production Executive
Responsibilities:
Lead five rotation shift members amount to 200 people in executing plant operation.
Make critical decision on emergency working procedure during operational problems to minimize impact on safety and production.
Ensure plant operation and Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) is comply with HSE guidelines and regulations.
Motivate shift members and contractor workers to demonstrate HSE best practices to achieve total Lost Time Injury (LTI) free of 1.5million hours.
Investigate on all process safety incidents and occupational accidents in workplace.
Conduct Permit to Work (PTW) reviews and establish Confined Space management plan.
Supervise all plant operational activities (DCS and Field) in order to achieve high Polysilicon purity of 99. 99…99 (nice 9s).
Communicate with other departments such as Technical Coordination Department, Maintenance Department and Logistics Department for operational and technical support.
Prepare equipment so that maintenance personnel can safe maintenance and repair jobs.
Prepare daily production reports, plan and assign daily job duties to Shift Leader, Field Engineers, Field Technician and Operators.
Plan schedule for Field Engineers and Technicians and determine whether overtime work is necessary to meet production capacity.
Work under tight time frame during start up, shutdown and emergency conditions.
Provide training and coaching to all Manufacturing staff through education programs, workshops and trainings.
Guide Field Engineers and Technicians to perform risk assessment such as HIRARC, KYT (Kiken-Yochi Training) and PYT (Process-Yochi Training) on operation manual.
Review and approve SOP and check lists regarding operation manual for all plant activities.
Knowledge on various chemicals and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of Caustic Soda, Hydrochloric Acid, Nitric Acid, Quick Lime, O-cresol, Chlorosilanes and etc.
