Senior HR Leader for Distribution Center supporting approximately 900 hourly employees, 900+ temporary staff and 100
operations leaders. Strategic business partner to Operations leaders to ensure the effective delivery of Human Resources
(HR) services in support of business objectives. Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added
service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Responsible for leading
the HR team to execute business goals. Key objectives include influencing positive employee engagement, facilitating
leadership development activities and training, talent acquisition, change management, leave of absence and workers
compensation administration, managing staffing agency relationships and being a credible business partner to the Site
Director and Associate Directors.
Accomplishments:
● Partner with operations leadership to rebuild Human Resource credibility within the business unit through
increased employee contact, consistent communication mechanisms and appropriate employee relations
administration
● Improved the employee experience by centering focus on Operational partnerships that embrace the DNA
of the organization.
● Deployment of new policies and procedures to include On-line benefits enrollment, On-line Performance
Management process, new attendance policy and new paid time off policy in dual language (Spanish).
● Established internal promotion strategy, recruitment and selection strategies
