PROJECTS INCLUDE:
East Bay Mud - $2.5 million water treatment project. Installed new tanks and serviced existing tanks
holding up to 1 million gallons each. Oversaw a team of 10 industrial painters, sandblasters and welders.
Acted as liaison with other trades, including pipefitters and electricians. Assigned JSA for each employee.
Documented the scope of the project and hours daily. Recorded costs of materials. Served as liaison with
the Project Manager on Change Management. Worked closely with internal and external inspectors.
Completed the project on-time and within budget.
Hoover Dam - Served as Journeyman and Foreman on a project to remove, upgrade and install new gates
(interior and exterior) at the dam. Acted as liaison with the Army Corps of Engineers. Worked in confined
spaces.
Golden Gate Bridge - Sandblasting part of $1 billion project. Oversaw the overnight sandblasting crew.
Set up containment with the crane team. Led a team of 20-30 installers, sandblasters and industrial painters.
Installed connections and safety nets. Removed existing connections (bolts and rivets), and installed new
connections with treated materials. Responsible for safety, inventory, and recording/reporting. Addressed
worker inquiries regarding extra pay for overnight work. Acted as liaison with the USCG. Coordinated
daily COVID testing. Collaborated with welders, ironworkers, and heavy equipment operators.
Iron Mountain - Rehabilitation of 1 million gallon water tanks. Managed a team of 10 in sandblasting,
installing clarifiers, and applying a new coating with coal tar. Coordinated schedules with the client for this
3-6 month project. Personally handled sandblasting duties. Responsible for daily safety planning and
project scope. Assigned duties and tasks.
Vandenberg Bridge - Built a 1-mile bridge for the US Space Force and Amtrak. Demolished the existing
bridge. Collaborated with ironworkers and crane operators. Oversaw teams of 10-20.
