Travelled China on several occasions and regularly dealt with producing mills like Baowu, Shagang, Rizhao for HRC. Bought HRC, CRC, wire rods, sheets (2 meter wide) from these mills and trading houses like Minmetals.
Besides trading steel and raw materials from external mills, also supplied finished steel from Nucor mills in USA to middle east to primarily steel fabricators.
Have worked on secondary /over- rollings to markets in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Involved in complete transaction of deals from offers to letter of credits (Nucor is beneficiary for letter of credits), bank confirmations, evaluating confirmation costs etc.
Involved in complete logistics from vessel fixing, approval of stowage and certificates, laycan, loading inspection, docs collection and presentation, monitoring sailings and discharge of cargo.
Besides frequent visits also organised visits from Nucor USA and Nucor Switzerland to buyers in Middle east, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Taiwan, China and India.

Responsible for sales of rebars and billets in entire Canada.
