• Exported 40,000 mt hot rolled coils to Europe and earned commission of 100,000 Euros in a span of just 6 months
• Developed network with the local stockists & distributor network of UAE to their stock & Sale operations

• Sourced Flat Steel products from steel mills across Asia, Russia and Iran for customers based in India through direct discussion with buyers for price and order finalization and with the supplier for order finalization and deciding on the amount of commission to be earned in the process
• Directed a team of 10 and reported directly to the Managing Director of the company; single handedly initiated direct exports to Iran and increased the turnover of the company by USD 3 million
• Commenced imports of Aluminum Foil by finding the correct suppliers from China

• Obtained Aluminum Foil and PVC Stretch Films from China and PP Laminated Fabric and PET Film from India for the Russian Market
• Coordinated shipments and managed the entire logistics for all the products of the company including Air Shipments to various destinations for API and formulations with a team of 4
• Led the end-to-end import function of Polymer based products and ensured smooth flow of clearance, warehousing and dispatch of the same to the local parties

• Inspected Letter of Credits opened by the Import Customers and advised amendments to ensure a clean and a workable LC

• Obtained coated products from steel mills across India for Africa, Europe, North and South America; ensured proper coordination for supply for the same
• Coordinated shipments for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and ensured smooth flow of those shipments
• Booked 10000mt of a single steel order for Israel market for exports and ensured smooth shipment for the same
• Initiated sales into the African market by providing leads to the headquarters and ensuring regular bookings for the same

• Managed existing channels in order to cater to the needs of European and American offices
• Maintained strong relation and started business with a new mill in Indore ‘Indian Steel Corporation’ for exports; successfully developed new customers and new products line in terms of Electrical Steel

• Successfully managed Sri Lanka, Africa and Russia market without any subordinate for coordination of shipments from the plant
• Managed marketing across entire Africa region in the absence of manager and ensured booking of minimum 12000 mt per month
• Launched a new market for exports into Russia and booked 18000 mt during this tenure
