Responsible to make a business plan for the entire plant having production capacity of 1.3 million tons of steel per year with various product mix like Hot Rolled Coils, Hot Rolled Plates, Cold Rolled Full Hard and Cold Rolled Annealed. Apart from products from Global Steel SPV AMC, responsible for selling products mix from other mills owned by GSHL like Ispat Industries in India (3.5 million tons).
· Front Line Key Account Manager responsible for maintenance of complete accounts in all aspects.
· Marketing and Sales of Hot Rolled Coils / Sheets, Cold Rolled Coils / Sheets, Cold Rolled Full Hard, Galvanized Coils / sheets and Preprinted Coils as per technical capacity of our Mills to OEM customers as well as stockists and traders.
· Actively engaged in the formulation of strategies for Business Development for our products.
· Actively involved in promotion of high value-added products to increase profitability.
· Productively increasing market share for our products by providing competitive services in the market.
· Identification of new customers in relevant industries. Building strong relationships, generation of inquiries, making competitive offers, negotiations and finalization of business is the key function of my responsibilities.
· To ensure timely Collection.
· Also responsible for preparing of dept M.I.S viz presentation of visit Reports, Market potential, products profitability, buying behavior, price movements, study of regional competitive advantages, payment terms, financial arrangements, risk analysis and identification of competitors activities etc.
· To organize and control timely execution of orders, vessel nomination, invoicing and shipments followed by presentation of documents for negotiation of LC until payment is received.
· Development of subordinates by way of imparting training programs like product knowledge, market outlook, communication and managerial skills to make them future managers.
· To attend all order servicing related problems that is documentation, LC related issues, production, dispatch, shipment, quality related, customer related problems on day-to-day basis.
· Negotiation with shipping companies for better freight rates and timely shipments.
· Executive summary is to be prepared including price trends, active markets, buyings and sellings etc. in an international markets and domestic market.
· Delegation of work, setting responsibilities, controlling and successful execution to get desired result was a part of my responsibilities.
· Sales Administration responsibilities like checking of all the purchase and sales contracts, Daily, Weekly and Monthly MIS reports, Analysis of orders, production priorities and profitability, Analysis of orders versus cost of production to identify the most profitable dimensions for the rolling, to identify the freight friendly market for the sales and highest realization for the company. Close coordination with the plant for the timely execution of orders. Processing staff timesheet, dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails. Taking phone calls from customer and update their orders related queries, ensure timely receivable from customer in close coordination with the sales managers.
