As Business developer
1- Exploring new estimated markets and sorting out existing potential customers.
2- Strategic planning for a direct approach, in which the following can be done to
collect sales leads:
- Through participating in the locale activities or exhibitions.
- Holding seminars for the local estimated customer
- Direct visits to potential customers' plants.
3- Collaborate with potential locale segments such as (agents or third parties), as
to help the company accomplish the following:
- Marketing Penetration.
- Footprint more equipment in the developed market
- Enlarge the locale reference quantity.
As front-line sales
Mainly to describe the role and task of working individually:
1- From sales leads to sharing more PPT and videos to introduce the company (as
to familiarize the end user with the company and technology)
2- To collect URs or simplified requirements
3- Issuing corresponding proposal (Commercial offer + technical specifications
sheets + simulated layout for measurement purpose).
4- Preparing technical PPT corresponding to the proposal, and presenting to the
customer in a technical meeting, as to make sure the proposal is fully
understood and accepted by the end user. As well such a strategy can also be
counted as add value plan to win the customer's trust and position ahead in the
project competition.
5- Following up regarding the submitted proposal each then and after, through
phone calls, direct visits, or mail.
6- Discussing payment method, terms, and delivery.
7- Preparing project PI & contract.
8- business trip plan and visit schedule.
9- CRM data entry and project follow-up
10- Exhibition preparation.
As a Second-line sale
Mainly to describe the role and task of working among a team, or behind a sales
member, agent, Trade company or third party.
1- Reviewing the received URs or requirements
2- Assign the designated departments to prepare the corresponding proposal.
3- Reviewing the prepared proposal and mated it with the received requirements.
4- Call for internal meetings gathering the team and discussing the proposal, then
share the optimized proposal with the end user through the initial
communication channels.
Management Task
Since Tofflon have local after service team in each of Egypt – Algeria –
Morrocco, so I normally collaborate with after service regional supervise to
assign routine checkup visit to the existing customer, as to maintain good
relation and facilities the new order.
The management task would be summarized as follows:
1- Preparing customer list and visit schedule for the after-service team visit.
2- Check with the after-service team the visit report after each customer visit.
3- Informe the customer with our suggestion and maintenance repots, as to
change parts or supply new part, etc.
