Responsibilities were: Reporting of ExxonMobil UK affiliates, Month-End-Close process coordination for the whole team (9 persons), financial reporting and analysing the reports. (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash flow, VAT report, Income tax reports, repots). Business and market analysis, and business performance analysis of the chemical plants, plan vs actual calculations, variance monitoring, control sustainability plans and reporting, SOX controls, coordinating and leading internal and external audit with PWC, accrual accounting, tax verification, Income tax, Deferred tax, VAT, Intercompany IC and cost/profit centre accounting, controlling tasks – forecasting costs.
