Dispatched trucks to deliver seafood items from imported Ports into the freezers, coded the seafood items as received purchase order items, and generated accounts payables against vendors’ invoices. Invoiced the delivered seafood items as accounts receivable after they were delivered to the customers in the QuickBooks.
· Reviewed general ledger accounts and prepared and adjusted journal entries.
· Performed account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
· Maintained general ledger charts of accounts.
· Posted monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
· Performed month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closure.
· Used Microsoft Excel to keep track of book and physical inventory balance, reviewed and audited variance, adjusting as necessary for internal control.
· Consolidated the old transactions into general ledger journal entries in the QuickBooks using accrual method according to the GAAP and collected the past due of $120,000 and $90,000 from Walmart Mexico and Schnuck Market, separately, to gain faster cash flow.
