Responsible for Pyrotech, Stampings, Diecast, Machined and other Metal Parts purchasing across all locations in America(100+M USD in yearly spend). I directly supervise regional contract negotiations and support my team in operational excellence including on time price negotiations, commodity indexing, cost recovery, commercial discrepancies, on time sourcing, cost engineering.
Responsible for all regional strategic, tactical and commercial purchasing activities with 50 suppliers to 7 production locations and 3 engineering sites. I have successfully mitigated raw material inflationary impact in the 7-figure range.
Successfully negotiated payment terms extension with strategic suppliers, contract renewals, engineering changes and re-sourcing of complex supply chains, while pushing the company to implement innovative cost reduction projects. I have also worked with the production sites to prevent and minimize impact for missed supplier shipments, such as production downtimes and premium freight costs, and successfully offloaded some of those costs to the responsible supplier.
I also support escalation requests for urgent matters involving production, engineering,
finance and operations and am responsible for aligning my team with the Regional and
Global strategies for each commodity.

Program Buyer for Stellantis and Tesla for existing and new programs. Coordinate on time
Sourcing, on time PO and on time PPAP for new parts implemented, as well as
engineering changes for components in our seat belt systems. Supported cross-functional
efforts to improve existing productivity and source the right suppliers for all new
components, as well as value engineering initiatives.
Support with Spot PO and Tooling PO creation, Scheduling Agreement and Blanket PO
maintenance of three ZF production locations due to a medical emergency of the regional
PO admin.
Commodity Buyer for Webbing, Thread, Protection Covers and Silicon for ZF Seatbelts and
Airbags division. Commodity Buyer for Micro Gas a Generators for ZF Seatbelts division. I
manage the sourcing of new programs as well as the part family strategy for North
America, including the creation of new part numbers and blanket purchase orders.

Lead contact for Product Line Purchasing at ZF La Laguna for the Seatbelts division.
Regional lead for PL Purchasing on Electromechanicals, Forgings & Formings, Chemicals,
and Springs & Cassettes commodities. I handled several crises in the supply of materials to
Reynosa and La Laguna, particularly for Electromechanicals and Plastics commodities,
especially during the COVID-19 global contingency.I also mediate between the plant and
the supply base on product line issues. I provide tactical level support NPI, Cost
Leadership, VAVE and Part Family Strategies for La Laguna and regionally for the
commodities under my responsibility.

In charge of taking care of existing customer’s needs and ensure the fulfillment of their
purchase orders. I devised tracking and analytical tools to review the purchasing history of
the customers and predicting their future purchases. I also proposed a prioritization of
backorders to reduce delays.

In charge of sourcing all indirect materials and services for John Deere Electronic Solutions
Mexico, and support of all the user purchase requisitions. Supported the Supply Base maintenance and optimization plans. Coordinated the import process of materials returned under warranty claims. Championed the process of gathering NAFTA Certificates of Origin from direct suppliers.
In charge of sourcing the materials classified as indirect, particularly hand tools, electric tools and electric spare parts. In charge of supporting the users' purchase requisitions and capital purchases of Fabrication, Weld and Assembly materials and services. Supported the creation of new part numbers and supplier base optimization.
