Collaborative planning of experiments for risk assurance of newly developed
processes and materials applications, including planning of experimental
protocols and presentation of results to internal customers.

Presentation of project ideas in the glass technology area for further offer
acquisition with internal and external (industrial partners). Literature research tobe applied to the planning of projects in accordance with the contract guidelines
and time planning. Direct organization of experiments with technicians.
Preparation of documentation and presentation of results to clients.
Organization of external guests’ presentations on relevant topics for the group.

Collaborative Project with the Erlangen Institute of Biomaterials and Fraunhofer
IMWS Halle. Tasks included literature review on crystallization developments in
bioactive glasses, glass processing and heat treatment studies. I supervised and
designed practicals and seminars along with active participation in national and
international conferences, including the direct supervision of master students.

Research on bioactive glass ionomer cements, covering glass design, melting,
characterization and scaling up of cement compositions for encapsulation. Patent
exemplification preparation (WO2014102538A1) established within the scope of
the project. Coordination of the patent application with the Commercialization
Manager and Patent Lawyer.

Negotiating IT outsourced contracts with companies such as IBM and important
local retailers. I also monitored and optimised the technical customer service with
monthly reports to managers in Brazil and Colombia, which resulted in a 50%
improvement of the operability for the top customer.

Coordinating the import-export logistics of metallic tubing from various
providers and supporting the Application Engineers with sales and customer
enquiries. Developed a process manual to standardize and optimise the import-
export logistics.
